CANDER OF INTUITION
Truth by its very nature expands our awareness and is most often accompanied or preceded by discernment. Intuition, our native language, is continually guiding and helping us understand things without the need for cogent evidence. We are all born with those abilities, yet we have neglected to recognize the full worth of our innate skills. If truth expands our awareness, then intuition is the catalyst that gets us there. I believe these are two sides of the same coin.
The revelation of secrets and lies and distinguishing fact from fiction are the core definitions of truth. When insight precedes that disclosure, it prevents experiences of pain and suffering. We must learn to embrace the instinct and the hunch inherent in ourselves and come to appreciate their candor and perceive their mission.
Our very own "personal intuitiveness" is eternal, consistent and never changing, and just as sacred as truth. It's there to lead "our" lives and help us pave a path of peace and contentment for ourselves. To create a life where we come to depend on the truthfulness that comes from "our own sixth sense".
How many times have you said to yourself, "I should have trusted my GUT"?
The process of learning to trust your intuition begins with trusting the thoughts that guide you. Some call it the voice in your head. Yours is unique to you. For example, perhaps you're on your way out the door
to attend an important meeting with a client or pick up the kids from school. You have the inclination to drive a different direction and you find out later that your usual route was backed up for miles as a result of an accident.
The guidance was personal and unique for you and helped to preclude an embarrassing situation with the client or avoid an unsafe circumstance for your children. There are countless numbers of instances involving people who have experienced something very similar to this. Most people are familiar with "the feeling" or "the voice in the head" and some people have learned how to benefit from it and it has changed their lives in a way that only they can recount.
